¶ Step 1 - Prepare the router mount parts
- Rat Rig Spindle Mount - 65mm
- 2x M6x70 Cap Head Screw
- 6x 4040 Drop-in T-Nut - M8
- 2x Square Nut M6
- 6x M8x22 Cap Head Screw
- 2x M8x30 Low Profile Cap Head Screw
- M8x12 Low Profile Cap Head Screw
¶ Step 2 - Assemble the router mount - Part 1
- Rat Rig Spindle Mount - 65mm
- M8x30 Low Profile Cap Head Screw
- M8x12 Low Profile Cap Head Screw
- Insert the screws through each hole in the spindle mount and secure it into the spindle mount body
¶ Step 3 - Assemble the router mount - Part 2
- Assembly from the previous step
- 6x M8x22 Cap Head Screws
- 6x 4040 Drop-in T-nut M8
- Loosely thread a 4040 T-Nut on to each of the M8x22 screws. Do not tighten them at this point.
- 2x M6x70 Cap Head Screws
- 2x Square nut M6
- Do not fully fasten the M6x70 screws at this point. They will be used to hold the router in place later in the assembly
¶ Step 4 - Install the Rat Rig Router
- Router Mount Assembly
- Mount the router mount assembly on to the Z-Axis
- Push the router Mount all the way down on the Z-Axis
- Insert the Rat Rig Router into the mount as shown
- Ensure the bottom of the router is flush with the Router mount assembly.
