- It is recommended to place the bed plate on a soft surface whilst working with it, such as a towel, some fabric, or paper towels, to prevent scratches
- Gently peel off the protective film from both sides of the bed plate
- Begin in one corner and work diagonally across the bed plate
- The magnetic sheet, print surface, and silicone heater will be installed later during the commissioning guide, do not install them now

- M5x25 Countersink Screw
- Insert the M5x25 Countersink Screw through one of the three countersunk holes in the bed plate
- 2x Aluminium Spacer - 6mm
- Install the two aluminium spacers on to the exposed end of the M5x25 Countersink Screw
- Steel Ball - 12mm - Threaded M5
- Thread the steel ball on to the tip of the M5x25 Countersink Screw. Tighten it fully by holding the steel ball with your fingers and fastening the screw

- Repeat the previous step to install the bed fasteners in the remaining two marked countersunk holes

- Turn the bed assembly upside down
