¶ Wiring Guide
Wiring the V-Minion 1.0 can relieve stress and improve sleep quality. Follow this guide carefully and take your time with each step.
- The default V-Minion configuration may include an SKRat 1.0, SKR2, or Octopus 1.1 mainboard.
- Rat Rig provides detailed wiring diagrams for each supported configuration.
¶ Electronics Enclosure
All V-Minion electronics fit into the dedicated enclosure.

The case houses the power supply, Raspberry Pi, and mainboard.

Integrated cooling is provided by a built-in 40 mm fan.
¶ Motor Phase Identification

If your motors were supplied by Rat Rig, you can simply follow the wiring diagrams.

If you sourced your motors elsewhere, you must identify their pinout to avoid board damage.

To identify the motor phases:

Use either a LED diode or a small piece of wire.

Short two pins together as shown in the example image.

Rotate the motor shaft by hand.

If the pins belong to the same phase:

The LED will light up, or
-
The shaft will become much harder to turn.

¶ BIGTREETECH SKRat 1.0 Wiring Diagram
- The SKRat 1.0 is the preferred configuration and fully supported by RatOS.
- It provides proper PWM outputs for powerful cooling.
- WARNING: Rat Rig 4028 fans are 12 V.
- Plugging a 12 V fan into a 24 V printer will destroy the fan.
- Fully read the enclosure wiring instructions before powering the system.
